It lists over 300 members and is recognized as the most basic and unique services of services in the prefecture of Rodopi, in adult and minor people with heavy mental retardation (Down syndrome, diffuse mental developmental disorder, autism, etc.).
Through the AXIZO IKE it will be given the opportunity to promote and distribute creations for the sale of the beneficiaries of the art and painting workshops that operate this year for the first time with the grant of the Ministry of Culture.
The originality and pioneering of our company lies in the fact that in addition to formal intelligence workers, people with disabilities will also work.
The benefits of work for people with mental retardation are many. Initially, the aim is to remove stereotypes and prejudices about the work of people with disabilities. Thus their integration into the labor market will help fight social discrimination.
The work process will help to stimulate their psychological well -being. People with mental retardation after training will take initiatives and will be assigned to them that will be beneficial for their psychology. This creative occupation will create a sense of calm, help eliminate their anxiety and contribute to their mental uplift.
